HAYGAIN helps Kaliv the zebra, suffering from COPD
HAYGAIN helps Kaliv, a Hartmann mountain zebra from Lyon Zoo in France.
"Kaliv suffers from COPD. He has been under treatment for 4 years now however these treatments aren’t sufficient alone. We have progressively integrated a protocol to deal with this illness and the HAYGAIN HG-600 naturally fitted in to this schedule. The hay steamer is easy to use and maintain and was easily integrated in to our daily routine. It has improved the quality of the hay fed to the zebra. Kaliv very quickly accepted the steamed hay (one day only) and he now loves it so much that we will have to be careful that he doesn’t gain too much too weight!"
